Case Study • Australian Hotels Association (SA)

Regarded as one of the most professional associations and lobby groups in South Australia, the AHA required a two-year plan to upgrade their current site.
The Content Management System – WebTemplate – had already been installed and was working well and this was to remain central to the upgrade.
The site allows secure access to a Members Only section of the site.
The AHA’s Gaming Care operation is linked to the main AHA site, has a sympathetic design style and also used WebTemplate to make easy and quick changes to the site.
The second year of the upgrade is now underway, with plans for:
- On-line membership renewals and event bookings
- E-commerce
- Integrated photo library
- E-newsletter functionality.
Features:
- Secure login to Members Only section.
- Professional and easy-to-use Content Management System (CMS).
- Ability to add body copy, internal links, external URLs, email links, images, downloadable files and videos through a WYSIWYG editor.
- Ability to add or delete pages.
- Constructed in a frameless format and includes cascading style sheets to keep the look consistent throughout the site. These templates contain pre-defined areas where the content can and cannot be changed.
- Files and images can be added into the internal asset manager or 'File Library' for future use. File Library will notify user of any un-used assets.
- Site architecture developed for optimal navigational experience. Site Administrator has the ability to adapt the site architecture easily and quickly.
- The navigation and sitemap will re-write itself dynamically if anything is changed.
- Create and edit online forms. Form responses can be emailed as well as stored in the CMS for data collection.
