The Budget is one of the oldest magazines in Australia and it's "grassroots" and community to its core. Comprising 32 pages, plus a bumper 84-page souvenir edition for the Grand Final, it is sold at the gate of every ground during the minor round and throughout the finals series.
Over 95% of Budgets are purchased at matches (the rest are bought at city newsstands every Friday), with research showing almost all are taken home after the game and read, on average, by three people.
Demographic
The SA Football Budget is read by Australian Rules football supporters who are passionate about South Australian football. This provides a wide demographic representation, from parochial supporters who have supported their local team as part of their family culture for generations, to young families and aspiring footballers.
