In 2017, Tatachilla Lutheran College engaged Boylen for a complete website redevelopment, seeking a visually sophisticated site that would be easier to manage and generate more enquiries. (Note: in 2021 we are designing the next version of the site.)
The experience opens with a stunning aerial drone video showcasing the beauty of the school and its surrounds. The video has been embedded into the home page banner. An eye-catching “ticker” displays key statistics and these can be edited to suit individual page content.

One of the problems the College originally raised was the poor display of the previous site on smart phones. The new site – including the video – displays perfectly across phones, tablets and desktop.
In addition, the video and abundant imagery has been carefully optimised so that the site is lightning quick to load.
The project was delivered using our Agile approach to project management, with phases broken down into multiple Sprints of work.
All communication was managed through our online project management tool. Of course, software simply provides the tools and the team at the school and in the Boylen studio are to be commended for the excellent execution of our processes.
The College website is now supported through Boylen’s Helpdesk. Using our support package, Tatachilla Lutheran College receives priority treatment when they need advice or further work undertaken on the website.
It’s been a great success story for this contemporary school. The site has seen a substantial increase in user engagement. Redesign of the Book A Tour feature has resulted in an increase in school tours. School enrolments are on an upward trajectory.
Life is easier for staff managing the site. This is thanks to a range of features, such as an automated News Feed, batch uploading, and the ability to manage image and video galleries in one area and feed a gallery into any page or multiple pages.
